Binding materials are substances capable of binding other materials (such as sand, gravel, or crushed stone) together to form a compact, resistant mass. They are the essential foundation for load-bearing structures.

  • Cement: The "Portland" type is the most common for concrete and mortars.
  • Lime: Used both as hydraulic lime for plasters and as air lime.
  • Gesso: Used for interior finishes, stuccos and smoothing.
  • Concrete (including pre-mixed): A mixture of cement, water, and aggregates, reinforced with fibers.
  • Plasters: Available in lime-cement based (for exteriors) or gypsum based (for interiors only).
  • Smoothing compounds: Very fine powders for smoothing walls before painting.
  • Tile glues: Divided into classes (C1, C2) based on the hold and flexibility required.
  • Adhesives and Sealants: Adhesives for interior and exterior tiles and large formats;
  • Lightweight mortars: concrete with clay, lightweight screeds, clay.
